White Roost Canyon
A nice relatively short canyon in Robber's Roost. It has some interesting, and narrow rappels. White Roost beta can be found at www.climb-utah.com/Roost/wroost.htm. You can also find good TR's and pictures in the canyoneering section of www.uutah.com. Don't go into any of these canyons unless you know what you're doing and are properly prepared! |
High Spur Canyon
High Spur is a great canyon in the Robber's Roost area. It has one mandatory rappel, and some great narrows that rival Antelope Canyon, in Arizona. Usually a dry canyon, but with potential to have a lot of water. We went a few days after a storm and did a lot of wading chest deep. A group a couple days before us had to do a lot of swimming. High Spur beta can be found at www.climb-utah.com/Roost/highspur.htm. You can also find good TR's and pictures in the canyoneering section of www.uutah.com. Don't go into any of these canyons unless you know what you're doing and are properly prepared! |
